Pavers do have smooth sides. However, proper installation keeps them from moving and interlocks them in four different ways:

  • Horizontally (side to side)
  • Vertically (up and down)
  • Rotational (spinning around)
  • Tilting (tipping over)

Pavers should not separate from each other. If they do, it is an indication of an improper base and/or no edge restraints around the perimeter. Proper installation is the key to interlocking pavers, and Eastern Sky has the experience and knowledge to ensure that your pavers are installed successfully.
